The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stressed this, answering journalists questions on Thursday.
The Chairman of the Parliament emphasized that the essence of both the whole package of presidential reforms and the Annual Message lies in the components for modernization of the state. “It means that a deputy from any political faction needs to learn perceive macroeconomic content of each bill through the prism of a micro-world of a human, of an average Ukrainian citizen, his/her daily needs and interests,” he said, adding that he has referred the text of the Message to all people’s deputies and parliamentary Committees. “Everyone has to find “his place” in the Message in order to settle and reform the whole system of economic activity in Ukraine through the legal basis,” said Volodymyr Rybak. He stressed also the necessity of providing local self-government bodies, “as and important link of state government”, with financial opportunities.
Volodymyr Rybak reminded that the Head of state, in his Annual 2013 Message to the Verkhovna Rada, stresses the necessity of reaching structural modernization of economy by resolving key socio-economic tasks. Particularly, it pertains to establishing favourable climate for entrepreneurship and business-initiative; stabilization of state finance and formation of stable financial system; increasing level of energy safety, etc. The success of these transformations shall be the key to reaching national competitiveness and ensuring stable economic development of Ukraine for the decades to come.
“That is why I say that deputies need to daily work for their voters,” stressed Volodymyr Rybak.
